Nitto Medo Air Pump
Nitto Medo Air Pump LA45 is manufactured in Japan and has been adopted from the medical industry. This Nitto Medo LA45 produces 45 litres of air per minute. The Nitto Medo LA45 is pumped using a pair of Tephlon pistons into a resevoir in the base of the unit. This means it is possible to push air from an airstone at greater depth without risk of damage to the components. The LA45 Air Pump will quite comfortably run 6 airstones. The unit comes complete with a 6 gang manifold with stop taps.
Note: It is advisable to fit one way valves to your air pipes, especially if the unit is to be placed below the level of the surface of the pond water, as this will prevent any water from siphoning back and damaging the pump.
